We love the summer season in Boulder. The town is filled with concerts, farmers markets, art walks, marathons, and so much more. June days are hot – we can all attest to that, and many of these events take place outdoors. Luckily for us, we’ve got the Boulder Creek, the Boulder Reservoir, and many other watering holes to cool off in. Read on for a sneak peak of all that Boulder has to offer this month!
Bands on the Bricks

Summers in Boulder aren’t complete without a concert series or two, and Bands on the Bricks is a long-time favorite. This casual, yet musically magnificent event includes a variety of bands playing every Wednesday, a beer garden, and drink specials from some of our favorite local restaurants and breweries. A few of the bands being featured this summer season include Soul School, Hazel Miller Band, Euforquestra and The JV3. Be sure to check out Bands on the Bricks this Summer as it’s a Boulder staple!

Boulder prides itself for its artistic side, and First Friday is the perfect way to pay your respects to our city’s talented artists. From 6 – 9 pm, local painters, potters, fashion designers, musicians, and artisans will welcome you into their studios and show you their best work. The Art walk will take place along North Broadway, from Lee Hill to Pine St. If you’re looking to try something new, then grab your friends and head down for this Art walk; you’ll leave with more appreciation for Boulder’s artists than ever before.
Hanuman Festival

The Hanuman Festival is one of Boulder’s most cherished events. It encompasses a day of live music, yoga, and spiritual growth that so many in Boulder yearn for year round. 8th Annual Climb4Life Colorado

This fundraiser is great for families and singles alike, so come out and support a good cause!
Bike to Work Day
When: June 25th
Where: Everywhere!
Many of us here in Boulder already have taken the initiative to bike to work on a regular basis. To celebrate those of us who regularly choose two wheels over four, and to encourage others to join the movement, June 25th is the official Bike to Work Day. Don’t be the odd man out!
Paul Kimbiris & The Paper Stars

Philadelphian turned Boulderite, Paul Kimbiris, has been traveling the world and playing music for nearly 15 years. His style is eclectic and unique, fitting perfectly with Boulder’s style.
