In addition to a variety of 4th of July festivities, Boulder packs the month with lively activities to engage the community and showcase our city’s beautiful landscapes. Here’s what we’re looking forward to.
Dream Tank 5 Day Entrepreneurship Accelerator for Kids & Teens
When: 7/8 – 7/12, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Where: The Riverside
Kids ages 8-19 get the chance to foster their creative potential at this 5-day summer camp. Packed with engaging activities, this accelerator seeks to help participants create original projects, flesh out innovative ideas, and shape their futures. Sign your child up for this non-traditional summer camp and give them an opportunity to jumpstart their future career goals.
Behind the Mask
When: 7/1 – 7/7
Where: Dairy Arts Center
This fascinating exhibit showcases over 300 Latin American masks, exemplifying prominent events throughout the culture’s history. From dances to funerals, masks have played a pivotal role in Latin American history. These colorful pieces double as beautiful works of art and are spectacular to see in real life.
Afield
When: 7/13, 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Where: Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art
This art-inspired farm to table dinner benefits BMoCA’s arts education program. Dinner is led by Chef Grant Buchanan and GB Culinary. This beloved Colorado chef creates dishes that blend elements of Paris, the South, and the changing seasons. Chef Buchanan’s tasty dinner makes for a great way to support the community and enjoy a beautiful meal.
Evening in Napa
When: 7/21, 6:00 pm
Where: Food Lab
Food Lab’s classes are a great option for an out-of-the-box date night. Take a trip to Napa without setting foot on a plane. This decadent meal includes tuna tartare tostadas and a honey-glazed rack of lamb. Tastebuds will rejoice during Food Lab’s delicious event.
Boulder Taco Fest
When: 7/27, 12:00 – 8:00 pm
Where: Foothills Community Park
Join in for the 3rd annual Taco Fest and dig in to delicious treats from seven different taco vendors. Sip on tequila or pair your meal with a frothy craft brew. Watch as Lucha Libre wrestlers don colorful masks and face off against each other. Live music and a pinata for the kids make this out to be a thrilling event for all.
