Originating in Kansas City, Wonder Wonder opened its second location in Boulder this past May. The multi-faced, hands-on experience and studio welcomes visitors to its 28th and Canyon location, promising an immersive, beautiful day unlike any other.
What is Wonder Wonder?
It’s hard to justifiably describe Wonder Wonder as any one thing. In fact, it’s equal parts art exhibition, photography studio, and all-encompassing, sensory experience. Guests make their way from room to room, marveling at intricate, eccentric art installations. Each turn pulls visitors into the experience, enveloping the senses with colorful murals, changing lights, forested walls, and the unexpected ball pit.
Wonder Wonder can also be used as a photography studio. However, guests and photographers must purchase tickets regularly and adhere to normal rules. The DIY room has various themed backdrops to capture that perfect Instagram shot or striking portfolio pic.
Rules and Regulations
Wonder Wonder seeks to bring out the inner child in all of us while providing guests with some killer photo opps. As such, pictures are encouraged. Wonder Wonder only asks that guests be respectful of each other’s space and not monopolize a room. As visitors are permitted to interact with installations, Wonder Wonder gently reminds guests to be careful with the art.
Tickets are $16 and allow visitors access to the entire museum, although the flow of the exhibition is one-way. Take your time through each room as there is no back-tracking. Children under age 14 need adult supervision.
Host an Event
Wonder Wonder would provide a truly fantastic experience for your next event. Simply fill out the contact form with information about your intended plans. Marketing meet-ups, networking events, and even birthday parties would be a hit at this location, and guests can take an awesome souvenir photo, or two, to hang up at home.
Wonder Wonder offers our town a totally existential experience when compared to your typical museum or art exhibit. Aspiring photographers can practice shooting subjects in front of engaging backdrops, kids can explore awe-inspiring exhibits, and co-workers can catch up over something other than happy hour. Check out Wonder Wonder and enjoy an interesting, engaging activity.
