The Boulder Craft Beer Festival unites the best brewers from Boulder and beyond in one place for a tasting festival sure to impress (there will even be a few local cideries for the cider lover in you).
Back again for its 4th year, there’s more to this festival than just sampling beer from over 30 breweries. Live music from The Red Petals and Wandering Natives, lawn games such as ping pong and corn hole, and the chance to meet the brew masters behind your favorite brews are just a few of the events making this festival a must-see.
A full list of participating breweries can be found here, but a few standouts include:
- Asher Brewing Co. from Boulder, CO
- Avery Brewing from Boulder, CO
- Finkel & Garf from Boulder, CO
- FATE Brewing Co. from Boulder, CO
- Sanitas Brewing Co. from Boulder, CO
- Soul Squared Brewing Co. from Fort Collins, CO
- Stem Ciders from Denver, CO
- Twisted Pine Brewing Co. from Boulder, Co
- Oskar Blues Brewery from Longmont, Co
- …and with 21 more breweries not listed here, you can be certain to find a new favorite beer or learn everything you could ever want to know about your current favorites from the brewers on site to answer all of your questions.
Since your ticket includes endless free samples, your taste buds will come alive with the variety of offerings from these great craft breweries.
All of that beer will likely inspire hunger; don’t worry, the event has you covered with onsite food vendors ranging from Still Smokin’s “Southern inspired and Colorado perfected BBQ” to Suburban Wiener, serving up a classy take on traditional brats.
If you’re still on the fence, take a look at photos from the 3rd annual Boulder Craft Beer Festival for a preview of what will be in store for this year’s even bigger 4th annual Boulder Craft Beer Festival (which expects 2,500 people in attendance).
Notably, this event is about more than just craft beer…it’s about building and maintaining downtown Boulder as the heart and soul of the community. As such, the Boulder Craft Beer Festival is produced by the Downtown Boulder Foundation, a charitable 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. The Foundation produces nearly 30 annual events combining arts, culture, family entertainment and more downtown each year.
When: August 19, 2017 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Where: North Boulder Park
Tickets: Purchase tickets here (Note: the event has sold out every year, so tickets may not be available day-of or even in the days leading up to the festival).
Convinced yet? While I’m not a beer drinker, I’d be remiss not to pump up this awesome event. Hope you’ll make it!
