Out Boulder is on a mission to provide advocacy through a series of services and programs for Boulder’s LGBTQ+ community. The organization is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and plays a critical role in community-based fundraising. If you’d like to show your support for this great non-profit, join us for the 2021 GAYLA benefiting Out Boulder. This event will take place on September 18, 2021 from 4:30 to 9pm at St Julien. Interested in attending? Here’s what you need to know:
What to Expect at the GAYLA
To keep attendees as safe as possible, the GAYLA will be held outdoors at St Julien. The Redgarden Terrace provides stunning views of the Flatirons and is a wonderful setting for this year’s gathering. Just 19 tables will be available, so be sure to reserve your ticket soon if you’d like to attend. All attendees to the in-person event must be fully vaccinated and bring proof of vaccination. You can show your vaccination record at the door or upload a copy via the myColorado app ahead of time. If you’re more comfortable participating from home, virtual tickets are available, as well.
All in-person guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner and complimentary wine at the GAYLA. If you’d like to upgrade to the VIP option, you’ll have the exclusive opportunity for a reception featuring Margaret Cho. Margaret Cho began her standup career at age 14 and is known for her bold, controversial work. She’s earned the title of “The Patron Saint of Outsiders” and uses her platform to encourage change. Margaret Cho is often involved in anti-racism, anti-bullying, and LGBTQ+ rights campaigns and is sure to enliven the GAYLA with her performance.
Whether you attend in-person or virtually, there are plenty of chances to win prizes via silent and live auctions. The GAYLA is one of the most important fundraising events for Out Boulder, and the Twisted Foundation will match $50,000.
If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to enjoy an evening of merriment while simultaneously supporting a great cause, the GAYLA is the event for you. To book your ticket, visit this site.
