2025 Mardi Gras Bash

Where: Avalon Ballroom (Boulder)
Looking for some fun in Boulder for a good cause? You won’t want to miss the 2025 Mardi Gras Bash at the Avalon Ballroom. This event benefits the Colorado Friends of Cajun and Zydeco Music and Dance (CFCZ) organization and KGNU Community Radio. Rebirth Brass Band

Where: Velvet Elk Lounge
It’s always a good time at the iconic Velvet Elk Lounge. On March 1st, the Grammy award-winning Rebirth Brass Band will be performing the soul-stirring sounds that NOLA is known for. This group’s musical style is unmatched, paying homage to traditional brass sounds while blending in elements of jazz, funk, soul, and R&B. They’ll have you dancing all night! And, of course, Louisiana-style food and drinks will be served. Seating is limited, so grab your tickets now.
Enjoy Cajun Food at Lucile’s Creole Café
This restaurant may not be hosting any events for Mardi Gras, but Lucile’s Creole Café is a must-visit for authentic Creole cuisine. This spot got its start in 1980, and was the first concept of its kind in the Boulder area. Now, more than 40 years later, Lucile’s has opened multiple locations throughout our state. It’s a testament to how exceptional the food is! While you’re here, be sure to try the coffee and stock up on signature seasonings.
