The Boulder Burgundy Festival, which will occur from November 11 through November 13, showcases a variety of wine-centric activities. From tastings to educational seminars, there’s plenty to look forward to. The schedule of events includes the following:
Sustainability in Burgundy Seminar
The festival kicks off on November 11 with the Sustainability in Burgundy Seminar, which features special guests from the San Francisco Chronicle, jancisrobinson.com, and the Frasca Hospitality Group. This seminar explores sustainability and eco-friendly practices in wine production, and takes place at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Boulder from 11am-12:30pm. Seating for 80 guests is offered.
The Grand Cru
On the evening of November 11, festival-goers will enjoy an all-inclusive wine tasting with a focus on wines from Burgundy’s Grand Cru climates. This event takes place at Blackbelly at 6pm and offers seating for 70 guests.
Paulée-Inspired Lunch
On November 12, wine lovers will celebrate their Saturday by dining with a group of sommeliers at Corrida in Boulder. Lunch will feature rare Burgundy wines, and take place from 11am-3pm with 70 seats available.
Burgundy Producer Dinner
The Burgundy Producer Dinner, which will occur on the evening of November 12, features Simon Colin from Chassagne Montrachet and Pierrick Bouley from Volnay. This event, with 70 seats available, will commence at 6pm at Steakhouse No. 316.
Burgundy Rising Stars
The Burgundy Rising Stars is an educational seminar on November 13 from 12-1:30pm at the Embassy Suites Hotel. Like the Burgundy Producer Dinner, this event also features the wines of Simon Colin and Pierrick Bouley, and will have 60 seats available.
Grand Tasting
The Grand Tasting serves as the grand finale of the Boulder Burgundy Festival. Occuring on November 13 from 3-6pm at the Embassy Suites Hotel, guests will have an opportunity to sip over 200 Burgundy wines. With 180 seats available, this is the festival’s largest event.
