
This spring and summer welcome a plethora of exciting events at The Dairy Center for the Arts. The treasured non-profit and cultural center hosted awesome back porch events throughout COVID to keep Boulder’s music-loving, art-enthusiast community entertained. With warmer temperatures and beautiful evening weather, The Dairy is taking its acts from the back porch to the Glen Huntington Bandshell right in the heart of downtown Boulder. Here are some upcoming performances we’ll be thrilled to catch.
Hazel Miller and the Collective
When: 6/4, 6:30pm

Hazel Miller is well known throughout Colorado and always delivers the ultimate performance. Miller has played throughout the world, including the Far East, Central America, and Europe. Her passion for music and connection shine through beautiful lyrics and soulful melodies that blend jazz, R&B, blues, and more. Hazel Miller and the Collective will certainly have you on your feet swaying as the sun sets behind the picturesque Flatirons.
Los Chicos Malos, with Elisa Garcia Trio and Adolfo Romero Duo
When: 6/5, 6:30pm
Where: Glen Huntington Bandshell
Over the last few years, The Dairy has hosted these performers during its Noches de Peña, and each time the crowd goes wild. Los Chicos Malos will bring Cuban jazz, salsa, cha-cha, and everything in between to downtown Boulder. Bust out your dancing shoes for a night of lively melodies.
Innastate
When: 6/11, 7:00 pm
Where: Glen Huntington Bandshell
Innastate is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico and has gained a dedicated following for its interesting style of reggae and rock. The band blends progressive, modern instrumentals with music reflecting its indigenous heritage. Innastate creates in an effort to connect people and capture what it really means to be human in the world today.
Colorado BrazilFest
When: 6/18 – 19, times vary
Where: Glen Huntington Bandshell
Over the course of two days, various musicians will take the stage in downtown Boulder. Animated, hilarious songs from The Dexter Payne Quintet are sure to delight audiences on the first night of Brazilfest. For music fans looking to pick up a little samba, plan to buy tickets for Saturday night’s samba lesson.
Chris Daniels and the Kings
When: 7/2, 7:00pm
Where: Glen Huntington Bandshell
Usually found on the festival circuit, Chris Daniels and the Kings are bringing their famous “blues and horns” to the Glen Huntington Bandshell. Since 1984 this group has been gaining a dedicated following around the world and has been described as “Keb’ Mo’ with horns” by Westword. Enjoy some rock and soul from Chris Daniels and the Kings.
