Buffalo Bicycle Classic
When: 9/8
Where: Boulder Canyon
If you’re a cyclist looking for camaraderie and friendly competition, don’t miss out on the Buffalo Bicycle Classic. This race offers a rare opportunity to bike Boulder Canyon while it’s closed to traffic. Presented by Elevations Credit Union, this ride is one of Colorado’s most significant scholarship fundraising events. Registration is open!
Boulder Conversations With Extraordinary People
When: 9/12 and recurring second Thursdays
Where: Museum of Boulder
There’s no place like Boulder to hear diverse perspectives from incredible people. The Museum of Boulder is pleased to inform you that the popular speaker series Boulder Conversations With Extraordinary People is back for its 12th season! This year’s theme is Diversity and Partnership. The series will kick off on September 12th with Boulder native Perla Delgado of the I Have a Dream Foundation. Sip ‘n Solder Class
When: 9/12, 9/19
Where: Postino Boulder
Our city is known for being artistic (and welcoming to burgeoning artists). If you’d like to learn a new skill while enjoying great food and wine, the Sip ‘n Solder class is for you! This class is taught by Colorado Glass Works and hosted by Postino Boulder. For the price of admission, you’ll enjoy two glasses of wine, hors d’oeuvres, and the materials needed to craft your honeycomb suncatcher. This event will take place on September 12th and 19th from 6:00-8:00 pm, so be sure to book your spot soon!
Fall Fest
When: 9/13-9/15
Where: Historic Downtown Boulder and Pearl Street Mall
Fall Fest is the ultimate celebration of fall in downtown Boulder! From September 13th through 15th, stop by Historic Downtown Boulder and Pearl Street Mall to participate in the festivities. Firefly Handmade will offer a plethora of handmade goods, plus excellent local food, live music, and a beer and wine garden. This is a family-friendly event, and there will be entertainment and activities for little ones.
Wicked Wanderings by Arts in the Open
When: 9/21-10/27
Where: 900 Baseline Road
Just before Halloween, Arts in the Open presents Wicked Wanderings at Chautauqua Park. During this delightfully frightful experience, you’ll meander along the trail as your guides lead you to each scene. Scenes explore dark topics like wicked witches and fairies that lurk in the forest, and you may feel a chill down your spine! Scenes are dispersed throughout a moderate trail, so be prepared with comfortable hiking shoes, water, a blanket, and sunscreen.
