One thing we’re thankful for this November 24th is the many Boulder restaurants that will be offering special Thanksgiving Day menus. Get your turkey, gravy, and sweet potato pie fix without lifting a mixing spoon. All you have to do is kick back and let some of Boulder’s finest chefs cook for you. Here are some of our favorite restaurants offering Thanksgiving Day meals in 2016:
Jill’s Restaurant at St Julien, 900 Walnut Street, Boulder, CO
Jill’s Thanksgiving dinner option is sold out, but you can still start the day out right with their full brunch buffet on Thanksgiving morning. Enjoy unlimited drinks and breakfast items like waffles, French toast, an egg station, carved turkey and prime rib, and dessert.
Greenbriar Inn, 8735 N. Foothills Highway, Boulder, CO
The Greenbriar Inn’s traditional turkey dinner comes complete with all the fixins’, and of course, second helpings. Try a selection of items from their seasonal dinner menu and holiday desserts. Seatings are from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and reservations are required.
SALT Bistro, 1047 Pearl Street, Boulder, CO
SALT’s multi-course Thanksgiving menu is still being solidified as of this writing, but you can bet that it will include the authentic, fresh, and vibrant seasonal veggies, natural meats, and ingredients that SALT is known for.
Chautauqua Dining Hall, 900 Baseline Road, Boulder, CO
A Boulder tradition since 1898, the Chautauqua Dining Hall is a rustic and charming cottage nestled among many of the area’s hiking trails and beneath the Flatirons. Its Thanksgiving menu includes a family-style five-course meal: bread, appetizers, salad, entrée, and dessert. Yum!
COLTERRA Food & Wine, 210 Franklin St., Niwot, CO
If you appreciate the wine you’re drinking as much as you do the main course, head to COLTERRA, which serves up a mix of Southern French and Northern Italian cuisine and has a large selection of wine and beer. Since all of their food is sourced locally, the final menu will be solidified as the day gets closer, but it will include multiple tasty courses.
Hotel Boulderado, 2115 13th St., Boulder, CO
The Hotel Boulderado’s Thanksgiving buffet, which runs from 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., includes all of the Thanksgiving staples: roasted turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and green bean casserole. For a little Boulder flair, they will also throw in a kale and almond salad, butternut squash risotto cakes, and a chocolate fountain with dessert!
Is your mouth watering yet? Don’t wait to make your Thanksgiving Day reservations! They sell out quickly, so contact the restaurants individually to secure your spot. Whether you take on cooking duties yourself or hand over the reins to someone else, we hope your Thanksgiving is a wonderful one!
