Held September 26th, the Oktoberfest celebration on South Pearl Street is the first event to make our list. The combination of Beer + Pearl Street is immediately a winning combination in my book. The Denver Oktoberfest
A main stay since 1969, The Denver Oktoberfest has been a local favorite for its authentic German beer, food, and atmosphere. The event attracts more than 350,000 guests over a six day period, and is consistently ranked one of the top Oktoberfest celebrations in the nation. Closing weekend is September 25-27, and showcases awesome DJs and live music. One of the biggest beer festivals in the United States, this Denver tradition has plenty to offer for any taste: eating and drinking contests, cultural emersion and more. If you’re looking for the ultimate smorgasbord of everything Deutschland, you’ve come to the right place. Rocky Mountain Oktoberfest With an impressive listing of breweries in attendance, Rocky Mountain Oktoberfest is a beer lover’s paradise. Located at the Pepsi Center, this event brings together thousands of partiers, right in the middle of downtown Denver. The high-stakes corn hole tournament sees contestants competing for $10,000 and the ultimate set of bragging rights. The event takes place October 2 – 4, and is full of live music and cold beer. There’s even a full schedule of fun kids activities, ensuring that everyone in the family has something to do.
