Spring Exhibition
When: 3/2 – 3/29
Where: BMoCA
Explore the work of four different artists during this month-long exhibit hosted by the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. Richard Carter, Jody Guralnick, Charmaine Locke, and James Surls offer glimpses into their own creative process and drive to make art. Carter blends colors, shapes and clean lines while Locke uses chaos as her inspiration. Guest curator Julie Augur’s keen eye for beauty and emotion comes through during this collaborative exhibit.
Jill’s Restaurant Week
When: 3/3 – 3/12
Where: Jill’s at the St Julien
Jill’s is participating in Denver Restaurant Week and serving up a show stopping prix-fixe menu. Cauliflower soup, polpette and wild mushroom orecchiette are just a few items guaranteed to wow your taste buds. This makes for a great excuse to treat you and your date to a dinner out on the town.
Harlequin’s Gardens Opening Day

This sustainable nursery in Boulder keeps our greenery enthusiasts flush with plants of all types. Doors open once again and gardeners of all skill levels are invited to join them on opening day. Knowledgeable nursery staff are ready to offer tips on sustainable, regenerative gardening, revegetating with native plants and creating pollinator habitats right in your backyard. Open Rehearsal: Nathaniel Rateliff & The Colorado Symphony Orchestra
When: 3/3, 10 AM
Where: Boettcher Concert Hall
Watch some of the world’s best musicians in action as they practice for an upcoming show at this public live rehearsal. Colorado-raised Nathaniel Rateliff found fame years ago with his hit “S.O.B.” and since then has been deeply involved in various communities including the nonprofit space with his foundation The Marigold Project. Support this local act and learn a little bit more about the music industry from behind the scenes.
Zing for Zonta: Boulder’s Got Talent
When: 3/31, 6 PM
Where: The Dairy Arts Center
When’s the last time you attended a talent show? This is bound to be one epic performance complete with jugglers, comedians, and even stage-hungry hounds bringing their best tricks. Proceeds from this inspiring evening go towards a Zonta Foothills program to “Build a Better World for Women and Girls”. Get your ticket before it’s too late.
