Cultural Caravan

The Cultural Caravan is a city-wide music event sponsored by the Boulder nonprofit bearing the same name. This multi-day festival is designed to inject some life back into our city in a post-COVID climate and get everyone excited about live music again. Friday Night Weird
When: June 3, 10, 17
Where: Boedecker Theater, The Dairy Arts Center
The folks behind this Friday night film extravaganza are committed to making Boulder weird again. Each Friday, swing by the Boedecker Theater for a cinema experience unlike any other. From new freaky flicks to classic cult movies, Friday Night Weird provides the ultimate viewing experience for cinephiles.
Boulder Plein Air Festival

Let Boulder’s natural beauty be your muse. There’s no time like the present to try something you haven’t before. Boulder Plein Air Festival gives our city’s residents the chance to try their hand at painting gorgeous landscapes in open air, and it culminates in a community art showcase. If you’ve missed out on the painting, stop by Chautauqua Auditorium on June 11th to pick up a piece of original art.
Bands on the Bricks
When: Starting June 15, 5:30 pm
Where: 1300 block of Pearl Street
Boulder’s premier outdoor summer concert series is back in action for 2022. Bands on the Bricks features all sorts of musicians from our talented city and state. There’s something for every ear, from oldies to blues to folk. Sip on a beverage from the beer and wine garden while listening to awesome music and meeting new friends. June 15th is Pride Night with Hazel Miller and the Collective, you won’t want to miss it!
Grossly Affectionate
When: Exhibit opening June 23
Where: Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art
This eye-catching, norm-challenging exhibit, Grossly Affectionate, seeks to challenge binaries and allow viewers to question black and white lines in their own lives. Multiple artists have come together to create pieces that utilize natural and unnatural materials, showing how the human body can be many things, even opposing truths at the same time.
