The summer solstice has passed and the total eclipse of the sun isn’t until August, but packed between those astronomical wonders are the dog days of summer. In July, Boulder is filled with exciting events (and not just July 4th festivities). Here’s a brief rundown of what we’re most looking forward to this month:
When: July 4, gates open at 8 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
This year, enjoy the largest fireworks display in Boulder with the 76th annual Ralphie’s Independence Day Blast at Folsom Field. As thousands descend upon the University of Colorado’s Folsom Field, enjoy live music, countless food and drink vendors, and of course, the celebration of our nation’s independence.

Where: The Boedecker Theater, The Dairy Center for the Arts
