Looking for a great way to kick off your Fourth of July weekend? Avery Brewing’s 4K on the 4th is a fantastic option! Since 2008, this local brewery has hosted a 4K race on the Fourth of July. It takes place on a flat, fast course and is a great training opportunity for both serious runners and those who just want to have fun. A Boulder Symphony performance is always a treat, and the Fourth of July is no exception. On Saturday, July 4, you’re invited to the Boulder Bandshell for this lively symphonic celebration. Boulder Reservoir is our town’s go-to spot for outdoor gatherings. It’s a popular destination for Independence Day, with the swim area open from 6 am to 4 pm. Picnics are also welcome, as long as you leave no trace!
Fireworks in Louisville
Boulder isn’t hosting any fireworks shows this year, but nearby Louisville is! Stop by the Coal Creek Golf Course on July 4th starting at 6:00 pm for summer fun. You can expect plenty of food, music, kids’ activities, and a fireworks show as the grand finale.
