January 27: Monday Night Wine Dinner with Alan Manley
American-born Alan Manley, who now resides in Barolo, Piedmont, is making a trip to Boulder for Monday Night Wine Dinner on January 27 at 5:30 pm. Alan helms his own winery, Margherita Otto, in Monforte d’Alba. At Monday Night Wine Dinner, you’ll enjoy a four-course meal and sample Alan’s 2013, 2014, and 2015 Baroli and an experimental rosé.
February 14 and 15: Valentine’s Weekend at Frasca
Looking for an extraordinary Valentine’s Day date night? An evening at Frasca is the ideal destination for an evening of elegance in a romantic setting. Valentine’s Weekend reservations are available at 5:00 pm on both the 14th and 15th, and guests will dine on a four-course meal with a wine flight designed to pair perfectly with the menu.
February 17: Monday Night Wine Dinner with Antonio Benanti
At 5:30 pm on February 17, Antonio Benanti of Etna, Sicily will treat guests to a special evening of sampling his legendary wines grown on the slope of an active volcano, Mount Etna. Benanti hails from a long line of winemakers, including his grandfather and father. For those hoping to get a first-hand understanding of the volcanic terroir of Mount Etna, be sure to make your reservation.
March 9: Monday Night Book Dinner with Aldo Sohm
Aldo Sohm is one of the most widely revered sommeliers in the world. On March 9 at 5:30 pm, he’ll be visiting Frasca for Monday Night Book Dinner. At this exciting event, he’ll be discussing his new book, Wine Simple: A Totally Approachable Guide From a World-Class Sommelier and provide guests with a signed copy. Wine Simple is an excellent primer for wine enthusiasts of all experience levels. This work is packed with informational gems, including infographics, illustrations, and a comprehensive set of topics on all things wine. For those interested in expanding their wine knowledge, this event is a can’t-miss.
