Children’s Workshop: Celebrating Mardi Gras!
Looking for a kid-friendly place to celebrate Mardi Gras? Be sure to check out the Dairy Arts Center. This two hour workshop on February 6th is both educational and entertaining – the perfect mid-day activity for people of all ages. The event will kick things off with a presentation on the history behind Mardi Gras. After learning what this festive holiday is all about, kids will have the opportunity to create their own masks and musical instruments. Everything wraps up with a miniature parade, in which parents and guardians are encouraged to participate.
This Valentine’s Day weekend, break the routine and take your special someone to an event they won’t soon forget. On Saturday, February 13th, Boulder International Film Festival will be hosting a Mardi Gras themed “Foovie” (Film + Movie) in Boulder. The evening will begin with music, delicious cuisine and wines, and tasty brews. You can find additional details and purchase tickets on their website.
