Flying High Again at Boulder Theater: October 25
Snowboarding enthusiasts won’t want to miss Flying High Again at Boulder Theater. This film is showing on October 25 at 7:30pm (doors open at 6:30), and highlights some of the biggest names in snowboarding. This exciting event is much more than a showing (which would be awesome in its own right). In addition to viewing Flying High Again in our city’s most beloved venue, attendees will have the chance to win some incredible prizes. The prize list includes a pair of Ikon passes, a Onewheel and more!
Slacker University’s Fright Fest Tour at Boulder Theater: October 27
Looking for an unforgettable Halloween party? Slacker University’s Fright Fest Tour is coming to Boulder Theater on October 27. Doors open at 7pm, and the party officially kicks off at 8 o’clock. Partygoers must be 18+, and ready to enjoy a night of performances by nationally-touring DJs. Be sure to wear your costume…and don’t forget your ID! Fright Fest will sell out, so you’ll want to grab your tickets ASAP.
Christian Löffler with Hammer Hype at Fox Theatre: October 29
If you appreciate introspective and classical-inspired music, you’ll want to attend Christian Löffler’s performance at the Fox Theatre on October 29. Christian is a painter and musician based in a remote part of Germany, and his solitude heavily inspires his work. When he visits Boulder, he’ll be performing his latest musical collection: Parallels. This album celebrates and breathes new life into classical pieces by Beethoven, Wagner and Bach. It’s designed to invite a new generation of musical enthusiasts to explore the heritage of classical music, as well as Deutsche Grammophon’s historical archives.
Meshell Ndegeocello at Boulder Theater: November 2
Meshell Ndegeocello is a Grammy winner and a highly acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. If you’d like to experience her immense talent, you have an opportunity to see her at Boulder Theater on November 2nd. Here in Boulder, Meshell will showcase her newest album, The Omnichord Real Book. Jazz lovers are sure to appreciate this album, as it’s heavily influenced by this genre. Tickets are available here.
Fleetmac Wood Silver Storms Ball at Fox Theatre: November 4
Fleetmac Wood is an electronic band that, as you may have guessed, gives a nod to the classic-rock sound of Fleetwood Mac. At the Silver Storms Ball presented by Fleetmac Wood, you’ll enjoy electronic remixes and deep cuts of the iconic group’s hits. This rave/AV show is going to bring plenty of excitement–after all, this group is known for performing at some of the world’s best clubs and festivals, including Burning Man.
