There is a lot happening in the way of new construction projects in Denver, so of course, we wanted to bring in the expert to tell you all about it! The following is a guest post from Liz Richards of Kentwood City Real Estate. Here, she offers a great breakdown of all of the excitement that is brewing in Denver.
We are all about new and upcoming awesomeness in Denver. Which is good, because there is a lot going on! One of the newest, most up and coming neighborhoods is RiNo (or River North). We’ve written multiple articles on its sweetness, but get ready, here comes one more. And there’s a damn good reason for that: We are selling a pretty cool new development in this neighborhood.
Backyard Residences – at 30th and Blake, are new construction town homes starting in the $400k’s. Designed by Sprocket Design Build, these townhomes will be one of the best things to happen to RiNo since, well, everything else happened in RiNo recently! Backyard Residences has two floorplans to fit your needs. One is 1,235 sq.ft. with an oversized one car garage, and the other is 1,498 sq.ft. with a rooftop deck and a two car garage. One set faces Blake St, while the other will face the new commercial development (complete with an open space – the “backyard”). Finish boards are being finalized right now, and reservations are being taken. If you’re interested, contact me at 303-956-2962 or at liz@kentwoodcity.com. They’re going quickly – and will be gone in no time.
RiNo has become a hot bed of new and innovative spaces. The new warehouse theme has taken off (which is good because there are a lot of warehouses in RiNo), giving space for a variety of businesses to come together. Shops, restaurants, breweries, small commercial business, and really anything else you can think of are now in a one-stop shop area. What if you have to go to the bank, get coffee, get flowers for your mom’s birthday, AND pick something up for dinner? Problem. Solved. This is why RiNo is going to explode in the next year. It makes city living that much more convenient and awesome.

Another great new development we have coming up is Uptown 6 on Ogden. Located at 17th and Ogden in Uptown, these “California Modern” townhomes are right in the heart of everything that is happening in the neighborhood. There is one open and spacious floorplan with a fireplace, a deck off of the main living area, a rooftop deck, dual walk-in master closets, 1876 sq. ft., and a two car garage. This set of six townhomes will move quickly – they’re beginning construction soon and are taking reservations now!
Uptown is an amazing neighborhood that is experiencing a regrowth in restaurants at the moment. The 17th Ave Restaurant Row has become a “thing” with brand new restaurants such as beast + bottle, a New American eatery that focuses on local ingredients and prides itself in letting patrons know exactly where each ingredient comes from. The restaurant works directly with farmers and brings you ethically raised and responsibly harvested ingredients.
Another great place we’ve talked about is Ace Eat Serve – an Asian Restaurant/Ping Pong hall. Located at 501 E. 17th St, Ace features soups, ramen, table sauces, dim sum, salads, Asian sliders “bao buns”, and larger entrée plates. Its dessert menu looks pretty fantastic, as well. A vanilla glazed donut with lemongrass ice cream and bourbon aged maple syrup? Yes, please.
We enjoy providing our readers and buyers with the latest info on Denver and the exciting, new happenings within it. We especially take pride in getting to market the hottest new development projects in Denver; nothing makes us happier than getting someone into a home of their dreams. We strongly believe that Backyard Residences and Uptown 6 on Ogden can fulfill those dreams in amazing neighborhoods. Please contact us if you’re interested – we’d love to help you!
