
Colorado Gives Day is the annual celebration of Coloradan changemakers and the organizations that work day in and day out to push their communities forward. A product of Colorado’s own Community First Foundation, ColoradoGives.org partners with nearly 3000 nonprofits throughout the state and has facilitated over $355 million in donations since its inception in 2007.
Taking place on December 8, ColoradoGives’ annual philanthropic holiday, Colorado Gives Day, makes partnering with these organizations easy with its convenient online platform. Here are just a few examples among the thousands of dynamic organizations you can partner with on Colorado Gives Day.
Out Boulder County
Out Boulder County serves and supports Boulder’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer communities through advocacy, education, and various support programs. Thanks to the efforts of nearly 150 committed volunteers, this nonprofit connects with over 15,000 people annually and is steadily growing. Defy Ventures Colorado
Defy Ventures Colorado seeks to reconstruct and restore the lives of those currently and formerly incarcerated. Through prison-based education and vocational programs, this organization aims to help community members with criminal histories find employment and establish careers. In doing so, Defy Ventures Colorado seeks to positively affect over 50% of people who return to prison within three years of release due to post-incarceration unemployment. Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (BMOCA)

Since 1992, The I Have a Dream Foundation of Boulder County has positively impacted the lives of at-risk youth in the community through tutoring, scholarship assistance, long-term mentorship, and relationship development. Sioux Indian Reservation YMCA
The Sioux Indian Reservation YMCA helps reservation children and families reach the full potential through a variety of events and engaging youth programs.
