Halloween Havoc Skateboard Competition
When: Saturday, October 26th at 10:00am
Where: Scott Carpenter Park in Boulder
Do you have a family full of skateboarding enthusiasts? If so, bring them down to Scott Carpenter Park for the best 1st -12th grade skateboarding competition Boulder’s ever seen. The pre-registration fee is $10.00, but kids are welcome to sign up on the day of the competition for $15.00. Make sure your skaters come in full costume, because there will be a costume contest as well! Helmets are required, so we advise you to work that into the costume.
“Treasure Hunters” Halloween Party
When: Wednesday, October 30th at 6:30pm
Where: Boulder Book Store
This is a party your kids are bound to love, especially if they are book lovers! The Treasure Hunters themed Halloween shindig will feature snacks, fun crafts, trivia, a treasure hunt, and a pirate costume contest for the kiddos. So bring in your little pirate for an evening of fun and candy.
October 31st Happenings:
Halloween Benefit for Flood Relief
Where: Mocavo Roofdeck
When: 6:00pm – 2:00am
The Entrepreneur’s Foundation of Colorado, along with the Living Green Network will be holding a Halloween benefit party at Mocavo Roofdeck, one of Boulder’s best rooftop bars. Bartenders will be making drinks at $5 a piece, and all proceeds will be donated towards flood relief efforts. So bring your friends and loved ones, and come join the community in rebuilding what was lost in the flood. The total amount of donations collected will be displayed on a monitor throughout the night. The party starts at 6:00pm and goes all night. Let’s see how much money we can raise for our Boulder brethren!
“A Nightmare on Pearl Street” Halloween Party
Where: Mighty Fudge Studios
When: 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Bring the kids along to this spooky evening of food, drinks, treats, and tricks. Halloween costumes are a must, so let your creative energy flow! If you can brave the Haunted Staircase, you and your family will be rewarded with tasty treats and delicious drinks.
Mix Tape 1980
Where: Boulder Theater
Have you been itching to get in touch with your 80’s self? If so, this year’s Halloween show at the Boulder Theater is where you’ll want to be. Denver’s phenomenal band, The Motet will be covering music strictly from 1980, so get out your neons, tease your bangs, and come down for a good time.
Dairy Comedy Halloween Show
Where: Dairy Center for the Arts
When: 8:00pm – 10:00pm
Werewolf Radar will be hosting this Halloween themed comedy show on All Hallows Eve. This is an 18 and up event, so we advise you to leave the kids with a babysitter while you come out and laugh the night away. Costumes are encouraged but not required, so dress as you please. Ticket’s for this hilarious event are $10.00 a piece, who can say no to that?
