Colorado Music Festival: CPR Classical Night

Where: Chautauqua Auditorium
Experience an enchanting evening of orchestral music as conductor Gemma New leads the Festival Orchestra through a program of timeless classics. The concert opens with Prokofiev’s lively Classical Symphony, a work inspired by the styles of Mozart and Haydn. Renowned clarinetist Ricardo Morales then takes center stage for his adaptation of Copland’s Clarinet Concerto, followed by Rossini’s dazzling Introduction, Theme, and Variations. The evening concludes with Ravel’s beloved Mother Goose suite, bringing cherished fairy tales like Sleeping Beauty, Tom Thumb, and Beauty and the Beast to life through orchestral music. Colorado Brazil Fest

Where: Locations throughout Boulder
Since 2009, Colorado Brazil Fest has brought the vibrant spirit of Brazil to Colorado, celebrating the country’s rich music, dance, and cultural traditions. As the state’s premier Brazilian cultural festival (and one of the largest of its kind in the United States), the event is produced by Boulder Samba School, a nonprofit dedicated to sharing the beauty and diversity of Brazilian arts. Through captivating live performances, educational experiences, and engaging community programming, Colorado Brazil Fest creates an immersive celebration that welcomes attendees of all ages and backgrounds while fostering cultural appreciation and connection. Boulder Public Art Guided Walking Tour
When: 8/5, 8/12, 8/26
Where: Downtown Boulder
If you love our city’s artistic nature, you’ll want to join at least one of the free guided walking tours of downtown Boulder’s public art. Hosted by the City of Boulder’s Office of Arts and Culture, these fun, casual tours last about 1.5 hours and make approximately 30 stops. On your journey, you’ll see a mix of sculptures, murals, urban design projects, and more from throughout Boulder’s history. The earliest pieces are from the 1970s! Boulder Roots Music Fest (Tulagi)
When: 8/27-30
Where: Pearl Street
Boulder Roots Music Fest has a new name: Tulagi. Although the name is changing, the vibe will be the same. From August 27-30, 2026, Pearl Street will come alive with over 140 incredible live performances throughout the weekend.
