
April is just around the corner and with it comes a host of exciting events in and around Boulder, Colorado. March was one for the books, but April promises many engaging community-oriented activities. It’s one of the best months in the front range, bringing spring skiing, warm days, and the start of springtime. Here’s what we’re putting on our calendars for April.
April First Friday – NoBo Art District
When: 4/1, 6 – 9pm
Where: various locations
NoBo First Friday is a FREE self-guided tour of artists’ studios and creative businesses in the NoBo Art District. Meet painters, sculptors, photographers, designers, artists and artisans along your stroll through the area
April Boulder Babywearing Meet-Up
When: 4/2, 12 – 2pm
Where: Rayback Collective
For soon-to-be parents or recent parents of newborns, this community event takes a bit of the pressure off. Each month, caregivers are welcome to check out the Mile High Babywearing Boulder lending library. Bring your own carrier and get fit, or check one out from the lending library for as long as needed.
Youth Session 2B: All-levels Hand-building
When: 4/8, 4 – 5pm
Where: Boulder Pottery Lab
For children ages 8 – 11 who want to explore their creative right-brain, grab a ticket to this all-levels pottery class. Make bowls, vases, plates, and more while learning straightforward, beginner techniques that pave the path to mastering this craft. Plus, attendees will get the chance to meet other kids from all walks of life and make new friends in the process.
KAMCon 2022
When: 4/6 and 4/7, 9 – 4pm
Where: Hotel Boulderado
For Boulder’s business professionals interested in networking in person again, check out KAMCon 2022. Participants will discover new strategies for account management, growing their business, and engaging with other industry professionals. This event is intentionally small to allow guests to take advantage of networking opportunities and meaningful conversation.
Boulder Polar Plunge
When: 4/9, 11am – 2pm
Where: Boulder Reservoir
Support Special Olympics Athletes by taking a chilly dive into Boulder Reservoir during this year’s Polar Plunge. This event is a community favorite and brings so many out to the banks of this picturesque lake. After dunking, enjoy the “After Splash Bash” and use your complimentary drink and small bites ticket to reward yourself with local fare.
5 Tips to Start Investing in Multifamily
When: 4/13, 5:30-7:30pm
Where: milehimodern
Join Ruth Hiller for this free event as she shares tips on how to start and propel your multifamily investing business. This is for anyone who is new to apartment investing and wants to learn how to start, and for those investors who want to grow passive income and wealth in this asset class.
Bluebird Music Festival
When: 4/23 and 4/24
Where: Macky Auditorium Concert Hall
This highly anticipated music festival brings talented singers and songwriters to our city to share beautiful songs and melodies. Each day, performers like The Lone Bellow, Langhorne Slim, and Boulder’s very own Emelise take the stage to belt out some notes and sing original songs about love, heartbreak, and everything in between.
Tulip Fairy & Elf Festival
When: 4/24, 1 – 5pm
Where: Pearl Street Mall
Each spring, Pearl Street blossoms with thousands of tulips that bring color, delight, and joy to each city block. Bring your little ones dressed in fairy and elf costumes to historic Pearl Street pedestrian mall and let them partake in arts, crafts, songs, and more. Don’t have little ones right now? Being a spectator at the Tulip Fairy & Elf Festival equally as enjoyable and adorable.
These events inspire excitement and anticipation for one of the most beautiful seasons in our little corner of paradise – springtime!
