Boulder Arts Week

The Politics of Immigrant Inclusion
When: 4/3, 6 pm – 7:30 pm
Where: Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art
In conjunction with the exhibit, Don Coen: The Migrant Series, Dr. Celeste Montoya, associate professor of women and gender studies, will examine the roles that migrant workers hold within our communities and how our daily lives are impacted by the work they do. Gain a broader understanding and appreciation for Dan Coen’s innovative pieces through this informed discussion.
Workshop for Women Entrepreneurs

Women in Community (WINC) is a group of female entrepreneurs that hosts classes around the country, aimed at helping other female entrepreneurs start and grow small businesses based on their passions and talents. This April, WINC presents “Create Wealth Doing What You Love”, a course focused on bringing in more revenue to your small business. Network, learn, and grow your business with WINC.
Boulder Farmer’s Market
When: 4/6 and beyond

Nothing marks the arrival of spring time quite like Boulder’s beloved Farmer’s Market. The market not only gives locals the chance to purchase fresh, locally grown foods, but also creates an opportunity to meet the farmers, ranchers, and artisans who cultivate and create ingredients and products we use on a daily basis.
In conjunction with the Farmers’ Market, the Artisan Show takes place the second Saturday of each month. Stroll through colorful booths and pick out a piece of original artwork from one of Boulder’s many talented artists.
Colorado Jewish Food Festival
When: 4/7, 10 am – 2 pm
Where: Boulder JCC
This year’s Jewish Food Festival showcases produce from local farms and educates guests on sustainable agriculture taking place throughout Colorado. Sample authentic Jewish dishes, take a farm tour and listen to live music at this year’s Colorado Jewish Food Festival.
Dash & Dine 5k
When: 4/9, 16, 23 – 6:30 pm

2019 Giddy Up! Film Tour

Billed as “The Original Cinematic Bike Party”, this mini-film fest showcases cycling movies from around the globe. Whether you’re an avid mountain biker, speedy road racer, or simply love a casual Sunday ride, you’re bound to meet a variety of interesting cyclists and enjoy one-of-a-kind films that marry cinematic innovation with passionate cyclists.
Sex and Our Bodies with Deb Rubin
When: 4/11, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Where: Boulder JCC
This April, Align will host a private Sex Workshop. This female only workshop, facilitated by Deb Rubin, intends to open discussion on topics related to sex and the female body. The event will create a safe, open space for women to discuss challenging issues regarding sex and female sexuality. The Workshop will be of smaller scale, allowing up to 20 guests to attend, and tickets are $35 each.
PEEK at Dairy Arts Center
When: 4/18,
Where: Dairy Arts Center
PEEK is their largest fundraiser of the year. This is a rare opportunity to experience all art forms under one roof, essentially revealing the Dairy Arts experience. Guests will enjoy immersive experiences of performance art, visual art, magic, dance, music and more. Tickets are $100 and will sell out, so purchase yours soon.
Earth Day Birthday Party
When: 4/20, 11 am – 1 pm
Where: McGuckin Hardware
Come out to Boulder’s favorite hardware store and join your nature-loving neighbors in a celebration of Mother Earth. Product giveaways, a seed swap, and kid’s activities round out this event as the perfect kick off to Colorado’s backyard gardening season. McGuckin’s expert staff will be on hand with plenty of information to help you set your garden up with the perfect fruits and veggies for this spring and summer.
Spring Football Showcase

Missing football season already? Don your finest black and gold attire and head to CU’s Spring Football Showcase, where the new recruits and seasoned players will show off the skills they’ve been working on all winter long. Watch the players practice, run drills, and scrimmage during this pre-season event. Stick around after for a chance to meet some of the team!
