As always, there are simply too many events going on in Boulder, Colorado to keep track of! Spring is in full swing, and everyone’s itching to celebrate. From fairy festivals to eating and drinking your way down Pearl Street, there is something happening this month for everyone. Here’s a taste of what you can expect:
Fancy a Run?
This month is filled with 5ks! If you’re a dog lover and running enthusiast, the 13th Annual Canine Classic 5k Run/Walk might be just what you’re looking for. Intended to raise awareness about the Boulder nonprofit, Moving to End Sexual Assault, this run will take place at the Boulder Reservoir on Sunday, April 14th. This, family-friendly event will feature a myriad of entertainment for both you and your pooch.
If you’re allergic to dogs, why not take part in a 5k honoring the earth instead? Join fellow earth enthusiasts on April 21st for the 11th Annual Earth Day 5k. The” greenest 5k in Boulder” begins at 10 a.m., at CU-Boulder Law Schools Wittemyer Courtroom. To register for this race, visit the Conservation Center’s website.
Pearl St. Happenings
There’s always bound to be something happening on Pearl Street. This month in particular features two springtime events. On April 21st stroll down Pearl St. for an afternoon featuring Boulder’s finest wines and diverse culinary culture. A portion of the proceeds from Taste of Pearl will benefit Boulder’s Emergency Family Assistance Association.
Bring the kids to Pearl Street Mall on Saturday, April 27th, for The Tulip Fairy & Elf Festival. Admission to this event is free, and

festivities will kick off around 3 p.m. A stage on the 1300 block of Pear St. will feature a variety of performances that your children are bound to enjoy!

ASBC & Centennial Wine and Spirits’ 10th Annual Wine Tasting
Join KBCO’s Bret Saunders on April 6th as he hosts the ASBC & Centennial Wine and Spirits’ 10th annual Wine Tasting. Animals in Wonderland – Puttin’ on the Leash 2013
Pay tribute to the animals of the Humane Society of Boulder Valley by attending Animals in Wonderland – Puttin’ on the Leash 2013. The gala will be held at Coors Event Center on April 27th, at 6 p.m. This evening dedicated to our four-legged companions will feature live and silent auctions, special guests, delicious food and drink, and heartwarming tales from the Boulder Humane Society.
