School Day Off Camp

Where: Boulder Recreation Centers (North and East)
These popular camps deliver a dose of fun in just one day for kids needing to get some energy out, meet new friends, and play. Camps at the North Boulder Rec Center are focused on gymnastics and give kids the opportunity to practice moves, work through circuits, and increase flexibility. Camps at the East Boulder Rec Center invite the kiddos to jump in the leisure pool between other structured activities. Each day has a new theme, making each School Day Off Camp feel refreshing and new.
BVSD Camps and Holiday Classes

To alleviate some of the logistical burden placed on parents when school is not in session, Boulder Valley School District offers exciting day-long camps and classes. These range from nature-based events to easy arts and craft days. Sign up soon as these camps are growing increasingly popular.
Rock Climbing Camp
When: 11/11, full-day and half-day options
Where: ABC Kids Boulder
For kids with an adventurous spirit and those who love a good challenge, ABC Kids Climbing Camp will fit the bill. Experienced climbing instructors start by building a foundation of safety and respect for the sport. Then, kids are able to start rock climbing under the guidance and supervision of patient and knowledgeable instructors. These camps always fill up quickly, so sign up soon. BAMM: Biology, Art, Museum in Motion—Dinos & Dragons!
When: 11/21 – 23, 9am – 12pm
Where: Longmont Museum
For three days, camp participants will immerse themselves in the world of science and fantasy. Equal parts real and make-believe, this camp explores the world of extinct creatures that once roamed the very place we call home. Knowledgeable camp counselors will incorporate exciting activities that spark creativity, curiosity, and imagination.
Craft & Sew Camp
When: 11/21 – 23, 9am – 12pm
Where: Longmont Museum
Little ones who enjoy arts and crafts are sure to get a kick out of Longmont Museum’s Craft & Sew Camp. Teachers will start with the basics, covering weaving, macrame, embroidery, and sewing, then work through simple projects so that camp participants can walk away with something that they created out of scratch.
Boulder JCC Winter Break Camp
When: 12/19 – 23, 9am – 4pm
Where: Boulder Jewish Community Center
This week-long winter break camp is the perfect option for busy working adults who want their kids to be engaged while out of school. Perfect for children in grades K-6, the week will offer a plethora of activities, both outdoors and in. Camp participants will even take a trip to the treasured Milk and Honey Farm.
