The Best Spots For A Girls’ Night Out This Fall In Boulder, Colorado

Boulder is the perfect town for a girls’ night out regardless of the season. Whether it’s a winter weather bar crawl, spring and summer sunrise hikes followed by a well-deserved brunch get together, or fall – with dedicated Girls’ Night Out events by local businesses and more, there’s no shortage of spots for your next girls’ night out. As fall finally arrives, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite places to spend a girls’ night out throughout Boulder.

Girls’ Night Out

We’d be remiss not to mention downtown Boulder’s first annual Girls’ Night Out festival. Over 30 downtown businesses and retailers will be participating, offering unique in-store special events, prizes, various food and drink tastings, and more.

Girl’s Night Out includes three events over the course of the night. The first will begin at 5:00 p.m. on September 28 and is dubbed “Sip”. Located at the pop-up “Sipping Garden” on Pearl Street Mall, begin the evening with themed Girls’ Night Out cocktails, a glass of wine, soda, and mocktails galore. A DJ will be playing through the night while retailers show off their finest fall and winter fashions. By the way, the first 150 to arrive at the event will get a specialty Girls’ Night Out tote.

After you enjoy the Sipping Garden, open until 8:00 p.m., get ready to shop at some of your favorite local retailers with some seriously special events and sales.

Finally, finish off your girls’ night out as you stroll from business to business, taking a selfie (or four) with your best friends, and stopping in at secret Popup Event Stops along Pearl Street Mall.

Poshsplat

Pairing painting and wine at a beautiful downtown studio, especially at Pearl Street’s Poshsplat, might be one of the best girls’ night out experiences you could imagine. This fun, relaxing venue is a great place to hang out with your friends for a more tranquil girls’ night out – sampling wine and letting your creativity fill the canvas. Better yet, at the end of the night, you’ll take home your very own (potential) masterpiece to remember the night.

Flagstaff House Restaurant

This charming cabin turned iconic Boulder restaurant has everything you need to start your night out right. Offering panoramic vistas of the nearby mountains and city below, as well as a rustic, fine dining experience, Flagstaff House Restaurant leaves little to be desired. Enjoy delicious food, specialty cocktails, and of course, great conversation at this off the path eatery.

The Kitchen Upstairs

For a refined, classy and classic girls’ night out, Pearl Street’s The Kitchen Upstairs is one of the best in town. This beautifully created space, featuring granite-enshrined fireplaces and intimate, as well as open style seating, leaves little to be desired. This is especially true once you see (and taste) their inimitable charcuterie selections. Open daily from 5:30 p.m. until midnight, this upscale cocktail lounge with delicious dishes ideal for sharing with your friends will keep you entertained through the night.

Boulder is a great town no matter the time of day or time of year. And that’s just as true for girls’ night outs as it is for anything else. Yet, there’s something about autumn and the change in the air that makes a girls’ night out in Boulder during fall especially memorable. Have any favorite girls’ night out traditions?
