Who doesn’t love good food, good drinks, and a chance to wander through some of Boulder’s best galleries and shops? For diehard culinary enthusiasts, local foodies, and folks who enjoy exploring Boulder’s diverse restaurant scene, Taste of Pearl is a must-attend.

Festivities kick off on the afternoon of April 23, from 2 – 6pm. The walkable event is isolated to the Pearl Street area, in the heart of downtown Boulder. The location is designed to let you meander through

various art galleries and retail storefronts while sampling the best food and beverage our town has to offer. Anyone 21 and over is encouraged to purchase tickets, which went on sale March 1.

Every spring, Boulder brings unique and exciting events downtown, and Taste of Pearl is widely recognized as a town staple. In 2011, the event won the esteemed Governor’s Award for Downtown Excellence for Best Promotional Event, and in 2013, it received the International Downtown Association’s Merit Award.

15 restaurants, including some of the best eateries in town, like Frasca Food & Wine, Flagstaff House, and OAK at Fourteenth will have samples for you to enjoy. And what better complements world-class food than Colorado wine and liquor? Wine from Aspen Peak Cellars and spirits from local favorite Vapor Distillery are just some of the options to choose, from the 15 wineries and distilleries expected at Taste of Pearl this year.

While you nibble on the inviting food and drink, you can wander through 15 different Boulder art galleries and shops. Make sure to stop in at Art + Soul Gallery, which has unique art and jewelry on display. And if you’re feeling inspired by the food you’re sampling, check in at Savory Spice to stock up for your next home cooking adventure. You can find everything from clothes to apothecary to home goods while you stroll through this year’s festival.

Boulder is known for being home to a number of culturally stimulating, engaging events focused on local arts and business, and Taste of Pearl is a town tradition highlighting this trend. This is a perfect spring activity for a date, meeting with friends and loved ones, or for you to enjoy solo. Don’t miss what’s sure to be another delectable dining experience!
