September is shaping up to be a busy month on the Front Range. Red Rocks has packed in as many concerts as it possibly can, filling the end of summer with a whirlwind of music styles. There will also be plenty of events to attend, including FOOTBALL GAMES!!!, around Boulder.

Football Season is Here!

With fall just around the corner, the CU Buffs are gearing up for football season. And, we have some exciting news. In an effort to gain more exposure, connect with clients & the community, and have MORE FUN together, we have decided to tailgate at the CU games in the “Gold C” lot. We have a space reserved for all home games and would love for you to join us!

2nd Annual 1950’s Tiki Exotica Ball
• Tuesday, September 3rd at 5:00 pm
• In the mood for some dancing?  Head on over to the Millennium Harvest House, and step back in time, to the 1950’s at this Hawaiian themed dancing extravaganza. A 9-piece Afro-Cuban orchestra will be playing all evening as you dance under the stars. Tickets for this wild night – suitable for teens and up – are $30.00.

The Qi Shu Fang Peking Opera Company Residency Public Performance
• Sunday, September 8th at 2:00 pm
• Founded in 1987, this opera company is dedicated to keeping the Chinese theatrical tradition alive and experienced throughout the world. This performance will include a “Ribbon Dance, “Fighting in the Dark,” “Art of Face and Mask Changing,” as well as “Monkey King and Princess Iron Fan.” This fantastic spectacle is free, open to the public, and will take place at the University Theater.

AscenDance Project: Front Rage of Motion
• Wednesday, September 11th and Sunday September 15th
• Experience this unique dance troupe’s creative technique as they incorporate climbing, dance, and music into their show. Taking place at the Chautauqua Auditorium, the show will commence at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $30.00 for non-members, $27.00 for members, and $20.00 for children 10 and under.

CU Symphony and Jeremy Denk on piano
• Friday, September 27th
• Come out and support the CU Symphony, joined by Jeremy Denk on the piano for an evening of music and good company. Denk’s style and energy outshine many of his peers, meaning this is truly an experience not to be missed. Tickets for this event start at $14.00. The show will begin at 7:30 pm at Macky Auditorium.

The Naropa Event
• Saturday, September 28th at 6:00 pm
• Join Naropa University for an evening of theatrical performances, art, live music, exquisite cuisine, and “Naropatinis,” as they put on their inaugural fundraising event. All proceeds from this evening will be dedicated to student scholarships. Local band, Intuit – also Naropa Alum – will be there as well celebrating the tradition and culture of Naropa University. Tickets for this 21 and over event are $95.00. So, bring your friends, and help support one of Boulder’s most cherished institutions.
