When: Monday, May 15 – Wednesday, May 17, 2017

Where: Sustainability, Energy, and Environment Complex, 4001 Discovery Drive, Boulder, CO 80303

It’s easy to talk about the crises facing the world today, but it’s much more difficult to develop actionable solutions. That’s why I am very excited about the Regenerative Future Summit. This three-day event is expected to bring together 300 business executives, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and thought leaders with the goal of crafting actionable solutions to the world’s problems. I can’t think of a more ideal place than Boulder, Colorado—a national hotspot for innovation and entrepreneurship—to host this inaugural conference.

Through in-depth discussions and working groups led by subject matter experts, attendees will craft a new economic narrative—one that weaves together personal well-being, shared prosperity, and a healthy planet. Together, attendees will redefine capitalism and develop action plans to implement a regenerative future. These plans will engage leading companies and early adopting communities to chart a new course for capitalism.

This is not your typical conference that consists of endless lectures and zero engagement. Rather, summit participants will collaborate across sectors to develop action-oriented solutions that deliver results and build a movement. Through a mix of live presentations from renowned speakers and previously distributed concept papers, the summit is consciously designed to combine thought leader expertise with participant insight to co-create a new economy narrative. Each day’s outline is as follows:

–          Day One: Frameworks Necessary to Create an Economy in Service to Life

–          Day Two: Regeneration in Today’s Economy

–          Day Three: Cohering the Movements

After identifying the key concepts that comprise an economy in service, participants will shift their focus to big-picture topics like collaborative leadership, transforming culture, scaling EV charging infrastructure, and using economic development to implement municipal climate action plans. Sessions include presentations from creators of the Planetary Boundaries framework, Doughnut Economics, Regenerative Economics, the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals, the Paris Climate Agreement, and others.

If you are unable to attend in person, follow along on Facebook and Twitter to join the conversation. Content will also be available on demand before, during, and after the summit on its website.

What are you waiting for? Join change agents to help chart a path toward a regenerative future where capitalism is natural, healthy, and just. Registration information is available here. I hope to see you there!
