From creative workshops to art exhibitions and beyond, here are seven excellent activities to enjoy in Boulder this February.

Spring Exhibitions 2018 Opening Reception

When: Thursday, February 1; 6:30 – 9pm

Where: Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art

Join BMoCA for the unveiling of two new exhibitions, Wopo Holup’s Endless Places, Present and Nathan Abels’ History of the Future. Members may gain entry for a preview at 5:30; at 6:30 the event opens to the public.

Ora Levi Introduction to Modern Tapestry Weaving

When: Sunday, February 4; 12 – 4pm

Where: Boulder Creative Collective

In this workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of modern tapestry weaving with local textile artist Ora Levi. Follow along as she demonstrates basic weaving and texturing techniques, and create your own handmade woven wall hanging to take home.

PEEK: Revealing the Dairy Arts Experience

When: Thursday, February 8; 6pm

Where: MacMillan Family Lobby

Experience a veritable buffet of the arts at this engaging fundraising event, the Dairy’s largest and most extravagant of the year. Support the Dairy Arts Center and enjoy craft beverages, tasty food, live performances, and more.

5th Annual CSA Fair

When: Monday, February 12; 5 – 8pm

Where: Rayback Collective

Boulder County Farmers Markets presents the 5th Annual CSA Fair, where you can meet your local farmers, learn about community supported agriculture, and sign up for your share. Afterward, do some yoga with All Terrain or sample some food truck fare at the Rayback.

Valentine’s Dinner at Bookcliff Vineyards

When: Wednesday, February 14; 6:30pm

Where: Bookcliff Vineyards

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate your love than with a romantic dinner at one of Boulder’s premier wineries? Enjoy a delicious five-course meal, expertly paired with the perfect wines, for an evening of pure bliss—complete with live harp music.

Boulder International Film Festival 2018

When: February 22 – 25

Where: Boulder Theater

One of Boulder’s most anticipated events, BIFF’s annual four-day celebration of cinema features dozens of films and attracts more than 25,000 attendees each year.
