Whether you’re looking for a new date night idea or you’re simply trying to improve your culinary skills, Food Lab will provide an excellent experience. Here, we share the details on their upcoming schedule—be sure to sign up for your favorite option as soon as possible!

Israeli Small Bites

On Friday, March 2 at 6:00 p.m., join the group at Food Lab for an evening of delicious Israeli cuisine. If you’re interested in expanding your horizons and trying food from all over the world, this is the perfect opportunity to sample a variety of dishes in a fun and supportive environment. The menu includes items like baba ganoush, falafel, and orange and black olive salad.

Parent and Child Italian Class

If you’re hoping to introduce your little one to the world of cooking, book your spot for the parent and child class on Thursday, March 8 at 5:30 p.m. The steps are simple, so children ages five and up should feel comfortable attending this event. At this course, you’ll have the opportunity to create handmade mozzarella and pesto bruschetta, Parmesan zucchini bites, and turkey meatballs.

Sushi Night

Whether you’re a sushi enthusiast or you’re ready to give this Japanese dish a try for the first time, you’ll enjoy Sushi Night on Friday, March 9 at 6:00 p.m. During this class, you’ll master the elusive art of crafting and rolling sushi rice. Other dishes on the menu include miso broth, tuna tataki salad, and Shumai.

Date Night in Rome

Rome is famous for unbeatable cuisine. If you’d like to experience the unique flavors of the City of Love, join the group at Food Lab on Saturday, March 10 at 6:00 p.m. During this romantic class, you’ll create delicious Gnocchi alla Romana, tomato basil salad with caper vinaigrette, and Stracciatella alla Romana.

Argentina Nights

On Friday, March 16 at 6:00 p.m., Food Lab is hosting Argentina Nights so Boulder residents can sample dishes from south of the border. Attendees will try their hand at whipping up beef and chicken empanadas, humitas (similar to tamales), and chimmichurri.


Portugal’s popular recipes are sure to be crowd-pleasers. If you’d like to experience this country’s trademark complex flavors, sign up for the class on Friday, March 23 at 6:00 p.m. Dishes for this evening include caldo verde, shrimp in garlic sauce, codfish croquettes, and tomato-and-cheese-stuffed eggplant.

An Evening in Bordeaux

Fans of all things French will love the opportunity to learn a few sophisticated recipes on Saturday, March 24 at 6:00 p.m. An Evening in Bordeaux features several French staples, such as Roquefort and walnut-stuffed pears, butter lettuce salad with pine nuts, and duck confit with bordelaise sauce.
