Boulder Rock Club Day Camps

A favorite among Boulder’s adult climbing community, the Boulder Rock Club also offers awesome classes for our city’s younger residents. Introduce your children to the exciting sport of rock climbing in a safe and fun environment. Experienced instructors teach climbing skills, technique, and safety through interactive games and hands-on training.

BRC also hosts a camp in conjunction with the East Boulder Recreation Center that teaches children climbing and slack-lining. Your child will make new friends and gain essential skills to practice this sport safely.

School of Rock Boulder Day Camps

For your little Beethoven, these week long day camps seek to enlighten and inspire through the world of music. Y2K and Beyond dives deep into the world of Millennial musicians. Kids ages 7-18 will get a chance to play some of the most popular songs of today and show off their skills with a live performance at the camp’s conclusion.

Vocal Camp will ignite the singer inside. Classes include songwriting, mic technique, stage performance, and more. Musicians are encouraged to bring along instruments so they can build comfort playing and singing.

Community Sailing Camps

Just because we’re landlocked doesn’t mean your child can’t learn the sport of sailing. Community Sailing of Colorado offers a plethora of classes for children of all ages. Little Puffs invites children from ages 5-7 to learn the essential elements of sailing, including water safety, boat maintenance, weather, and more.

The group’s “Learn to Sail” camp is perfect for beginner sailors ages 7-11 who want to learn all elements of this water sport. Lessons are STEM based and provide hands-on learning for these novice sailors.

Intermediate and advanced sailing camps are also available if your child has foundational sailing experience. Attendees will race across the water and wind in their sails, learning the elements of sport-sailing in fine-tuned racing boats.

Boulder provides ample opportunity for your children to connect with nature, learn a new skill, and practice a sport that will provide life-long enjoyment. Summertime in Boulder is a great time to take advantage of our natural surroundings and get outside. Sign your children up for any of these summer camps to give them memories that are sure to last a lifetime.
